Danish Dairy Board is a trade organisation for the Danish dairies. Danish Dairy Board is a knowledge-based organisation, and dairy-industry related expertise is our most important resource in order to create development within the industry, give advice to our members and fulfil our mission to create the best potential for development of the dairy industry in Denmark, including the protection of political interest, technical and legal assistance, health communication etc.

Part of the Danish Dairy Board is the administration of the dairies' School Milk Scheme, trademarks, foundations and other financial administration.

In connection with the running of the operations of Danish Dairy Board we collect and use personal information with a view to fulfilling the purposes described in this Privacy policy. Danish Dairy Board is the data controller in relation to the processing of personal information for these purposes.

Information with which you supply us when signing up as a member of Danish Dairy Board, including contact information (your name, your email address and the name of your company/organisation), information supplied by you to us as part of your production statistics, including information about your milk deliveries and purchases, information about turnover and wage bills, your preferences in relation to marketing or communication, as well as information with which you supply us if you contact us with a question, in order to report a problem, or in general when you contact us as part of your membership with Danish Dairy Board.

If you access our homepage from a mobile device, we may also collect a unique identification number assigned to your device.

Use of your personal information

Danish Dairy Board processes your personal information with a view to fulfil the purposes indicated. Please note that not all purposes indicated, categories of information, recipients of information or types of processing information may be applicable to your case.

Danish Dairy Board only processes your personal information to the extent required in relation to your membership, supply contracts or partnerships (as required in each individual case) or in accordance with current law.

Member administration - Establishment and administration of your membership relations with Danish Dairy Board as part of the operation of the Danish Dairy Board, including maintenance of our membership lists, subscription calculation and invoicing, debt collection, marketing, statistics etc. All statistics and analyses are drawn up in an anonymised format and consequently do not contain information which may be referred directly to you as a person. Furthermore, Danish Dairy Board may process information about our contact persons with our members in connection with our membership administration.

Administration of supplier and partner relations - Danish Dairy Board processes your personal information in relation to the administration of supplier and/or business partner relations where you are a supplier or a business partner or a contact person with a supplier or a business partner with whom Danish Dairy Board works as part of the operations of our company, including maintenance of our CRM register with information about our contact persons with our suppliers and business partners.

Running and maintenance of our homepages - Procurement of our online services, including support of the continued assessment and improvement of our homepages.

Observance of current laws and rules

Observance of laws and rules to which Danish Dairy Board is submitted in connection with the operations of the company or for the fulfilment of various reporting or information duties resting with Danish Dairy Board, including among other things the Danish Dairy Board's milk delivery register, production statistics and quality control.

Danish Dairy Board does not use your personal information for making decisions solely based on automatic processing, including profiling.

Danish Dairy Board strives to ensure that all personal information which we process is correct and updated. We therefore ask you to always inform us of any changes in your circumstances (i.e. change of email address or payment information) so that we may ensure the information always being correct and updated.

Legal basis for processing of your personal information

Basically, Danish Dairy Board processes information about you on the following basis: (1) You have consented to the processing of your personal information for one or more specific purposes (GDPR art. 6, subsection 1, letter a, (2) entering into or fulfilling your membership contract with Danish Dairy Board (GDPR art. 6, subsection 1, letter b), (3) consideration to the legal interests of Danish Dairy Board, i.e. the above purposes (GDPR art. 6, subsection 1, letter f), and/or (4) fulfilling a legal obligation to which Danish Dairy Board is submitted (GDPR art. 6, subsection 1, letter c). Furthermore, there may be situations where we process your personal information with a view to a third party's legal interests in relation to purposes described above unless consideration of your interests weighs more heavily (GDPR art. 6, subsection 1, letter f).

Sharing personal information

Danish Dairy Board only passes on information when it is necessary for the operations of our company.

Furthermore, Danish Dairy Board may pass on and/or hand over your personal information to other suppliers and/or service providers in connection with the ordinary operations of our company, e.g. in connection with external administration of our IT systems, analyses, marketing, debt collection, credit rating, auditing, legal assistance etc.

It is the policy of Danish Dairy Board to protect personal information by taking sufficient technical and organisational security measures. When there is no longer any need for your personal information, we shall ensure that it is safely deleted.

Your rights

You have at any time the right to claim your rights according to the data protection legislation in force at the time in question. Among other things you may ask for insight into the personal information which Danish Dairy Board has, as well as you may oppose the processing of the information.
